On October 16, 35 new energy products were assembled in the workshop and prepared to be delivered to customers. This batch of products will be used in the BYD Thailand passenger car production base project of China Automotive Engineering Corporation. Project Description

On March 10, 2023, BYD Group's first overseas passenger car production base (BYD Thailand Factory) held a grand groundbreaking ceremony at the WHA Industrial Park in Rayong, Thailand. China Automotive Engineering Group Co., Ltd. is responsible for the planning, design, and engineering construction of the base.

BYD Auto's Thailand production base is BYD's first overseas location for passenger cars. The project is located in Rayong WHA Industrial Park, with an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles, and is expected to be put into production in 2024. The project integrates the four major processes of vehicle production stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly. It also includes BYD Group's power, technology, and parts industries, and perfectly explains BYD's integrated vehicle production system.

The Thailand production base is BYD's first overseas passenger car production base. During the project construction, its engineering project procurement standards were extremely strict, especially in the selection of energy systems. After verification by many technical experts, CEEG energy products were finally selected.

CCEG has focused on energy equipment for 33 years, with complete product specifications. The products are used in the Beijing Olympic Project, Manned Space Project, Shanghai World Expo Project, Xiongan High-speed Railway Station, China's First Import and Export Expo, Nanjing South Railway Station, Shenyang National Games, Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, Beijing South Railway Station, Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel, Shenzhen Lingao Nuclear Power Project and many other national key projects.
